Hundreds of FedEx packages found in Alabama woods

An Alabama sheriff is attempting to determine how lots of of FedEx packages ended up dumped in the woods.

The packages of varied sizes have been found in a ravine close to the small city of Hayden on Wednesday, the Blount County Sheriff’s Workplace stated in a press release.

“I currently have a deputy on a location where it appears 300-400 boxes of assorted sizes have been thrown off a ravine,” the sheriff’s workplace stated on its Fb page on Wednesday. 

Deputies have been despatched to protect the scene till FedEx employees may arrive to select up the packages, Sheriff Mark Moon stated. FedEx despatched a number of vans and drivers from throughout the South to load up the packages, Moon stated.

Photographs posted on the sheriff’s Fb web page present the packages strewn in regards to the forest. The location the place the packages have been found is about 30 miles north of Birmingham, Alabama.
